The $30 purchase is BEFORE the coupons, so you can really save a bundle when you factor in the $10 gift card. One trick I have figured out is that you don't have to be over or even exactly at the $30 mark on reward deals at CVS, so if an item is $9.99 the 1c difference to the next dollar amount does not matter toward your total.
