Tuesday Turnaround: Save Money with a "Social Supper"

Tuesday Turnaround: From turning something old into something "new" to turning your thinking around, you can save yourself some $money$ either way

Have you ever been low on cash and food in the pantry? Got a hungry family to feed but all you have are a few canned goods?

Call a few friends and organize a "Social Supper." Ask what they can bring to complement something you already have and let them know how many people will be coming.

It's easier and cheaper to make a larger portion of the same dish than to make a whole dinner. You will actually be doing your friends a favor, too.

Events to use to plan a "Social Supper" include:
  • Game Night (sports or boardgame)
  • Bible Study
  • Movie Night
  • Play Date
  • or Just Because
This is always a FUN way to save money and to get to hang out with your friends, too. :o)

Tuesday Turnaround: Easter Egg Savings

Tuesday Turnaround: From turning something old into something "new" to turning your thinking around, you can save yourself some $money$ either way

Do your kids need CANDY-STUFFED, EASTER EGGS for school or daycare?

Have you ever calculated the cost of buying the supplies to put together 1 dozen (12) candy eggs? By the time you buy the candy and the eggs, you have spent a small fortune and then you have a TON of candy left that you and your kids don't need.

I have a solution for you! :o)
For only $2 you can purchase a dozen candy-filled, plastic Easter eggs at Space Walk of Tyler's One Stop Party Shop in Whitehouse (across from Austin Bank and Brown Elementary). The are assembled and ready to go!
